Fundraising Officer

VECO Vietnam is developing its Mekong Regional Program (2014-2019) comprising two major strategies: Sub-sector Development (SSD) and Inclusive Modern Markets (IMM). We are currently seeking for a qualified professional for the position of Fund Raising Officer based in VECO Mekong Regional Office, Hanoi, Vietnam. This position requires travelling within the Mekong Region and to other donor locations as necessary.

Position Summary: This person ensures adequate funding of the Mekong Regional Program derived from multiple sources (such as philanthropic foundations/organizations, private companies, bilateral and multilateral development assistance facilities, consultancy & technical assistance firms, and individuals) while being consistent with the program, values and culture of the Vredeseilanden (VE) organization, working in close collaboration and coordination with key staff of the Mekong Regional Office and Head Office in Belgium.

Job size: Full-time

Expected starting date: August 1 or September 1, 2013
