Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading multinational oilfield servicing company to recruit an Assistant Treasurer for its operations in Nigeria.

Job description

The Assistant Treasurer is responsible for proactively managing the treasury operations of the company to maximize treasury contribution.
The Assistant Treasurer will report to the Treasurer - Hemisphere.
The position is based in Lagos.

Responsibilities

  • Developing trade financing with import/ export agencies.
  • Manager of currency risk including hedging, netting and trading
  • Establish tax effective loans in local jurisdictions
  • Negotiate revolving credit facilities in larger countries
  • Develop currency risk management solutions for operations
  • Manage cash and dividend flows
  • Proactively monitor credit limit availability and Manage daily cash position and liquidity
  • Negotiate Letters of Credit and other security for client receivables
  • Review capital contribution requests

Qualifications et experience

  • Bachelor’s degree  in Finance, Accounting or its equivalent.MBA is an added advantage.
  • Must be qualified CA (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with 5years significant treasury management experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively (clear, concise and professionally) with all levels within the organization and with our client base.
  • Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to ensure common goal of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Sound business judgment in determining what issues need to be elevated to appropriate level of authority.
  • Working knowledge of common software tools (Excel, Word & MS Office Outlook)
  • Interpersonal skills,
  • Result-oriented
