GIS Specialist County of Alachua, FL
Bachelor's degree with major course work in geographic information systems, computer graphics, computer mapping, or computer assisted drafting and one year of experience in a related field; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. Applicants within six months of meeting the minimum education/experience requirement may be considered for trainee status. Experience in a GIS position for city, county, or state government desirable. Experience in a Public Safety environment (law enforcement, fire rescue, emergency medical services) providing GIS services desirable.
