BBC Children’s employs over 350 people and gives a unique opportunity to lead the HR agenda across the full range of functions : two channels, in-house production, commissioned content from independents, and high quality journalism via Newsround. The department has successfully completed its relocation to Salford and has built unusually high levels of staff engagement – the HR challenge is to build on this and deliver excellent business support via operational HR, talent mapping, succession planning and career development.

Role

Your role within this team is to provide expert technical advice, pro-actively drive cultural and organisational change and influence stakeholders to ensure pragmatic effective people solutions. In addition, you'll be expected to play an active role in operational HR delivery across the Salford site, especially in support of the co-ordinated HR and development agenda in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

We are looking for a talented, ambitious professional to take on the role of HR Business Partner. You’ll have substantial experience working as an HR Business Partner in a large complex organisation and will have strong technical skills across the full range of HR activities. We need your demonstrable strong people management skills and leadership capability within a team and across functions.
