IOM Finance/Administrative Officers (FAO)

The International Organization for Migration is seeking qualified candidates to join IOM FSM and RMI team for a five-year assignment. The recruitment/appointment and entitlements are subject to funding availability/confirmation. This is a request for CVs/expression of interest.
General functions
Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Party and overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial and administrative operations of the project and ensuring that all transactions and financial records comply with USAID standards and regulations. S/He will ensure that the project finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications
a) Completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution preferably in accounting, financial administration, management or related fields; b) At least four (4) years of work experience as an accountant c) Familiarity with the Pacific Islands environment; d) good knowledge of IOM, and experience working with USAID and with host governments; e) familiarity with USAID’s financial standards and regulations is preferred e) available to work full time for the full duration of the project, beginning 1 July 2013 until 30 June 2018.
Language
Fluent English. Working knowledge of native language considered an advantage
