Mid-Market Account Manager - Germany Sales

As part of our UK Account Management Team you will have responsibility for selling into accounts in Germany. Fluency in German is required for this position.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Will need to up-sell/cross-sell additional product into the FireEye install base
  • Engage customers in advance to transact annual service/support renewals
  • Follow up on existing customer leads generated by marketing
  • Account ‘care and feeding’….act as internal customer advisor
  • Quarterly campaigns/programs and initiatives built to target our existing customer base
  • Facilitate conversations between sales and finance/legal/ops/shipping
  • Research accounts organizational structure to develop new opportunities
  • Work directly with channel partners/channel managers to engage clients and leverage the alliance team to engage in OEM/resell opportunities
  • Assist in the winning pre-sales presentations 
  • Become a product specialist with FireEye’s eMPS product line
  • Combine sales, marketing and a basic technical understanding to further promote the FE brand within the install base accounts 


Requirements:

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate FireEye’s value via the phone
  • Must have previous sales experience in the enterprise market
  • Previous experience managing existing customers
  • Ability to call on C-level executives 
  • Ability to facilitate large meetings with multiple points of contacts/players 
  • Must be organized, detail and process oriented
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in resolving difficult issues
  • Excel knowledge
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other on-line tools effectively
  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred
