Our Team

To be successful, the NV team needs to catch the European customer needs and latest technologies, both from a parts and development process viewpoint. This information is not only gathered, but also interpreted and applied. In this process, we actively participate in the European noise and vibration community.  

 

As such, we defined 3 pillars for the NV department :

 

• •Competitor benchmarking and target setting including performance breakdown, using state of the art tools together with key suppliers
• •Vehicle development for European production (vehicle derivative, life cycle management, engine integration)
• •Pre-development and research

Your Challenge

 You will start in vehicle development, running your own project from concept to production quality check :

 

• •Benchmark the competitor vehicles and set proper targets
• •Create the scenario how to achieve performance, including cost and weight
• •Implement the scenario to the drawing through negotiation with all stakeholders(Design, assembly, quality, project management,…)
• •Solve performance problems during the different prototype stages
• •Follow up production trials in the factory
• •Solve field issues that might occur after the production start
• This will give you a thorough insight in the exciting world of noise and vibration vehicle development. From that experience, you will be able to participate in deep benchmarking and pre-development in the future

Your challenge

• Master degree in mechanical engineering (university level)
• •Fluency in English, additional language skills would be an asset
• •a few years experience in acoustics is an asset (preferably automotive)
• •Affinity with automotive and acoustics (sensory evaluation)
• •Self-confident teamplayer
• •Analytical, self-learning and good planning/management of own responsibilities
• •Critical mind towards yourself and others
• •Open to travel within Europe and to Japan
