Job Description

 Within Toyota Motor Europe (TME), The Body & Paint Network Quality Team deals with the strategic and operational areas affecting the collision repair business of Toyota Authorised Repairers around Europe.
The main focus area of the team is B&P TSM (Toyota Customer Service Management), which is the implementation 
of Toyota Production System methodologies and principles at the repairers’ body & paint workshops. It defines the ideal state for B&P operations and is used to identify the improvement areas. The role of the B&P Network Quality Team is to help national marketing and sales companies (NMSC’s) build a master plan for collision business and lead B&P TSM implementation across the European Network via NMSC’s key staff. Parallel to the implementation, the team continuously updates and improves the program as well.
 
TSM aims to increase the efficiency and productivity of the Authorised Repairers, to improve Customer Satisfaction and create new business opportunities through efficient & consistent processes.


Your Responsabilities

  • You are in charge of supporting the B&P Network Development (TSM/ Kaizen - continuous improvement) teams at the NMSCs
  • You help the team to develop and implement the B&P TSM programme pan-European wide and support its proper roll-out in the different countries
  • You contribute to the developments of the B&P TSM programme, training and support tools
  • You investigate and explore new ways / methods / tools of implementing B&P TSM
  • You serve as the B&P TSM tools instructor towards NMSC and Retailers, focusing on continuous improvement, coaching and guidance via on-the-job training
  • You provide TME management with regular updates on B&P TSM implementation status.
  • You liaise with other Groups, Divisions and Departments to ensure B&P TSM is integrated consistently with other TME programmes e.g. training, customer satisfaction, general jobs TSM etc
  • Attend trainings and seminars to develop practical Body & Paint repair knowledge.


Your Profile

  • Master or Bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • Min. 3 years of working experience as an Engineer in automotive or technical car service
  • Clear interest and ability to learn technical aspects of B&P repair is a must; knowledge of collision repair
  •  techniques is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% maximum.
