Client Overview:
Excellent opportunity to join our large EPC firm on major oil and gas/refinery projects locally/globally for a direct hire and long-term employment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain corporate standards for the pipeline group.
- Periodic design checks and design work as time allows.
- Assist with staffing-interviewing applicants and making hiring recommendations.
- Attend sales meetings and/or making presentations.
- Seek ways to improve technical competence of the company, including encouraging professional registrations, recommending and attending technical seminars, publishing articles, and organizing training sessions.
Job Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or related degree. PE (Professional Engineer) is highly preferred.
- 15-20 years in Engineering to include onshore oil and gas pipelines (route selection).
- Hydraulic calculations and modeling (transient and steady state techniques) experience.
- Pipe Stress Analysis.
- Operational experience with compressors and pipeline systems, HDD is a plus.
- Successful supervisory experience and proven leadership abilities of large teams.
