Yoh has a direct hire / long term opportunity for a Pipeline Engineer to join our client in Houston, Texas.
Client Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to join our large EPC firm on major oil and gas/refinery projects locally/globally for direct hire and long term employment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engineering oversight of all pipeline related projects.
- Provide system capacity/optimization.
- Develop designs for existing and new pipeline facilities.
- Project cost estimations.
- Coordinate/lead in pipeline design and development with other design disciplines.
Job Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or related degree. PE (Professional Engineer) preferred but not required.
- Ten (10) years in engineering to include onshore oil and gas pipelines (route selection).
- Hydraulic calculations and modeling (transient and steady state techniques).
- Pipe Stress Analysis.
- Operational experience with compressors and pipeline systems, HDD is a plus.
