PROVINCIAL UNIT MANAGER SHORT-TERM CONSULTANT (3-6 MONTHS) NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL

Plan is delivering programmes in Bokeo and Oudomxay Provinces, to provide access to their rights to basic health care, clean water and sanitation, education, and protection. Disaster risk reduction is integrated in all the work we do, and Plan is committed to providing disaster response support in case of humanitarian disaster.

There is currently a vacancy for the long-term position, Provincial Unit Manager (Bokeo). While Plan recruits this long-term position, there is a need to temporarily fill this leadership position, and support Plan’s provincial team in implementation of Plan’s programs.
The Provincial Manager will provide leadership and direction for the Bokeo Provincial Unit to ensure that Plan implements its committed programs in the Provincial Unit and complies with all relevant policies and systems.
CONSULTANT MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Significant experience in leading and managing development programs in an INGO.
• Experience in project management, including financial management. • Experience in human resource management, including performance management. • Excellent report writing, inter-communication skills and working cooperatively in a cross cultural context. • Willingness to be based in Bokeo Province, and travel as necessary as well as work in isolated contexts
