We are looking for individuals with background in Critical Action Learning and Action Research methodologies to serve as a doctoral supervisor to supervise our online students. The programme is a unique combination of deep practice-based learning and research with rigorous classroom scholarship designed for working senior professionals who wish to improve their careers. Initially we are interested in recruiting Doctoral Supervisors with experience in doctoral supervision and familiar with theoretical concepts and practical methodologies of Critical Action Learning as well as Management Research and Action Research.
Experience:
  • Earned Doctoral Degree in a business discipline
  • Background in Critical Action Learning and Action Research
  • Be an active researcher and have published at least 3 academic papers in recognized peer-reviewed journals (and conference paper)  in the past 5 years
  • Doctoral supervision experience and post-graduate teaching
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Facilitative disposition towards highly motivated adult students.
Preference will be given to candidates with professional qualifications as well as academic credentials. Experience working in or knowledge of the UK University system would also be an advantage. Previous online teaching experience is beneficial but not required, as suitable candidates will be trained online during a 1 week induction session. Induction is conducted 100% online and is not restricted to specific hours.
