We are looking to recruit a PDRA (two years with possible extension to three years) with a Chemistry background (PhD in Chemistry) who will be responsible for the development of sustainable catalytic pathways for conversion of terpenes into value-added chemical products.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on the project “Terpene-based Manufacturing for Sustainable Chemical Feedstocks”, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) to develop new routes to high-value compounds based on renewable feedstocks.
The wider project is led by the Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies at Bathhttp://www.bath.ac.uk/csct/dtc/) and also involves the University of Bristol (School of Chemistry) and the University of Cambridge (Institute for Manufacturing and Department of Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology).
