University of Bath Research Officer - Chemical Engineering

PDRA 2 (two years with possible extension to three years) will have a Chemical Engineering background (PhD in Chemical Engineering) and will be responsible for developing processes for terpene transformations and separations.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team on the project “Terpene-based Manufacturing for Sustainable Chemical Feedstocks”, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) to develop new routes to high-value compounds based on renewable feedstocks.
The wider project is led by the Centre for Sustainable Chemical Technologies at Bathhttp://www.bath.ac.uk/csct/dtc/) and also involves the University of Bristol (School of Chemistry) and the University of Cambridge (Institute for Manufacturing and Department of Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology).
