CONTRACT: Maternity cover, fixed term, 6 months

Use your extensive experience of working in multi-country research and policy as a Research & Policy Coordinator at ActionAid International and be part of the global ActionAid family helping to build a fair and just world where everyone can claim their rights.
As Research & Policy Coordinator you will network with colleagues across the federation to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our research. You will improve and maintaining tracking and approval systems to ensure consistent messaging in-line with campaign priorities. You will advise on the design of high quality, well-targeted research products covering programme scoping and media exposure to influencing policymakers and supporting campaigns. Working with the International Communications team, you will manage the scheduling of publications and mitigate libel risk as well as coordinate the creation and dissemination of public policy positions to advance campaign and strategic objectives. You will also coordinate policy working groups for our three multi country campaigns.
A postgraduate in a relevant field you will have extensive experience of working on multi-country research and policy, ideally in a non-profit setting, as well as an understanding of how research/policy products contribute to successful campaign strategies. You must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to communicate with different external audiences and an eye for detail. Comfortable prioritising projects you are able to meet deadlines and have a demonstrable interest in development issues.
