Learning and Development Coordinator
The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for developing and leading the framework, infrastructure and principles for learning and capacity development across the IS and the ActionAid Federation. The role is responsible for advocating on the integration of L&D Principles into operations and procedures across the Federation.
This fixed term contract position will take up specific projects and task of the Learning and Development Coordinator as specified in the Terms of Reference.
Formally, you should have a post-graduate degree with a minimum of 3 years Training and Development experience, including Learning Planning, Development and Delivery. An Advanced Certificate in Learning and Development is desirable for this role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing Capacity Building Methodologies and experience of working in a similar capacity in an international organization. Strong analytical, strategic thinking and planning skills are required coupled with strong and effective communication skills and the proven ability to negotiate and influence change with sensitivity. An understanding of the structure and dynamics of a Federal Organisation will be beneficial.
At a personal level, you must have a strong commitment to a human rights based approach to development; champion women's rights and value working with diverse cultures and the poor and marginalised groups.
