Senior Technical Safety Engineer

Our Client - Is a world leader in project management, engineering and construction for the energy industry. They are involved in subsea Oil & Gas developments to the largest and most complex Offshore and Onshore infrastructures.

Job Description –

• To lead all engineers and drafters in the technical safety department.
• To generate Master Deliverables Register and plan workload for engineers and drafters.
• Generate and check technical safety deliverables on time and within man-hour budget.
• Able to interact with other disciplines and with clients on technical safety matters.
• Able to do Discipline Internal Check (DIC) on technical safety reports, drawings and calculation and other discipline deliverables.
• Participate and provide constructive inputs at meetings and design review sessions.
  

Candidate Requirements –

• Minimum Degree in Engineering recognized by BEM Malaysia
• Must have minimum 7- 10 years’ relevant experience in Oil and Gas, refinery or petrochemical industry.
• Good experience in loss prevention and process safety design.
• Sound knowledge of modelling tools such as PHAST, FRED and QRA methodology
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
