Job Requirements :
Tetra Tech Division is currently seeking full-time, temporary Environmental Inspectors and Lead Environmental Inspectors to monitor and oversee construction projects. We are seeking individuals with a complete working knowledge of all environmental aspects of a pipeline construction project, including but not limited to wetland crossings, stream crossings, agricultural lands, residential construction and cultural resources. Individuals will be responsible for the coordination, planning, and management of all permitting issues related to the project. BA/BS Degree in environmental science, biological resources, or equivalent preferred with previous experience in erosion and sedimentation control, planning, permitting, compliance, monitoring and auditing. Attention to detail, problem solving and coordination skills required. Demonstrated leadership skills needed for issue resolution and to oversee the work performed by 3rd party inspectors.
Positions will require a drug screen and a motor vehicle background check. Position requires individuals to be exposed to physical working conditions such as climbing, standing and walking in rough terrain for extensive periods of time.
