AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) is the world's third largest gold producer with 20 operations in 10 countries on four continents.   AGA employs over 62,000 people globally.  In Australia, AGA operates the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine and is developing the Tropicana Gold Mine in which it has a 70% interest and is manager.  Independence Group NL holds the remaining 30%.  The Sunrise Dam and Tropicana operations are both situated in WA.

Located in the Laverton region, AngloGold Ashanti Australia's Sunrise Dam is one of Western Australia's premier gold mines. This open pit and underground operation employs more than 600 people and produces approximately 350,000 oz of gold per annum. Operating on an attractive 8/6 fly-in fly-out roster, Sunrise Dam boasts excellent accommodation and facilities.

We are now seeking a Resource Coordinator to join our Maintenance team at Sunrise Dam, FIFO 8/6 from Perth or Kalgoorlie.

Accountable to the Maintenance Superintendent this role is responsible for delivering materials, tools and services to the site ensuring that all the specified items will be available for the scheduled start of the work.

The main tasks of the role include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring that all required resources are delivered to the work site on time for maintenance activities
• Resourcing of shutdowns
• Liaising with Process, Maintenance and Stores staff on availability of equipment for maintenance purposes
• Assist in identifying redundant stocks and prepare applications for new items of plant and equipment
• Production of period reports (weekly and monthly) detailing planned versus actual maintenance activities and resource usage

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience in the maintenance of industrial processing equipment
• Sound analytical, planning, implementation and supervision skills
• Innovative with a strong desire to succeed
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Exposure to project scheduling software and computer aided drafting packages would be highly regarded
• Exposure to the SAP computerised management system
• FIFO mining industry experience
• Current WA Drivers License
• Australian Permanent work rights
