Bridge Engineer - Columbus, Ohio
McCormick Taylor, Inc., a leading transportation engineering and planning firm, is seeking a Bridge Engineer in our Columbus, Ohio office. This person will work as part of a team of bridge engineers in our Columbus office on ODOT and local municipal bridge projects. Our office provides a professional atmosphere, and with our recent growth and significant backlog of work, we offer a unique opportunity for advancement for the selected candidate.
Education and Skill Set Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum is required
• 2-5 years of bridge design experience
• Experience with ODOT design standards, analysis and design software, plan preparation and procedures
• Proficiency in Microstation is required
• Possess strong communications and technical writing skills
• EIT is preferred
• Ability to produce various engineering reports for clients is essential
