Direct Sales Officer - China Desk Services

Background

CRDB Bank PLC is urgently looking for qualified and interested candidates (Chinese Nationals Only) to fill vacant positions of Direct Sales Officers-China Desk Services existing in the Department of Corporate Banking at the Head Office in Dar es Salaam.

Summary of Main Responsibilities

Participate in periodical, seasonal marketing and direct sales activities during trade exhibitions, forums and marketing events at corporate and retail levels.

Prepare regular sales reports on number of customers recruited.

Assist to sell and cross-sell bank products and service during Bank's campaign to retail and corporate customers.

Assist in provision of customer's education to enhance product and service usage to potential and existing customers.

Assist customers to understand all Bank's products and services features and benefits.

Participate in building relationship with key customers to ensure productivity in line with business goal of the Bank.

Disseminate, distribute and display educational and informational marketing materials i.e. brochures, posters and banners etc during Bank's corporate events.

Assist in gathering and provision of customer feedback necessary to improve the Bank's service delivery.

Search for the new prospects to achieve predetermined sales targets and participate in deposit mobilization planned programs.

Develop and grow business in the area assigned.

Execute sales tactics to achieve the set targets.

Ensure top performance as per Bank's key performance standards.

Conduct personal selling to potential customers.

Provide customers with best customer's service experience.

Participate in product campaign to ensure product information is readily available to customers.

Receive customers' complaints and report to respective units for solution.

Academic Qualification

Degree in Commerce, Marketing or Business related subjects from a recognized Training institution. Candidates with master's degree will have an added advantage.

General Profile and Attribute For All Applicants

Chinese nationals who can speak and write in either English or Kiswahili and Mandarin.

Sound 'Customer service skills

Well developed interpersonal skills

Prior selling experience in financial services.

Confident, dynamic with minimum supervision.

Self starter with high degree of discipline and passion

Enthusiastic and sales oriented.

Period of Engagement

This appointment is for a contractual term of six months (initially) and maybe renewed depending on the performance and achievement of the target set.
