Description:	NetCentrics is looking for a Senior Engineering Project Manager to Manage Engineering Projects for the Enterprise Infrastructure of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). This position is only open to U.S. Citizens with an active DOD security clearance. Secret is required and Top Secret or higher is preferred. Senior Engineering Project Manager will be managing and coordinating the efforts of a team of subject matter experts from a number of IT disciplines for projects and development efforts within the OSD network. These engineers will all be experts on various facets of the environment including Infrastructure, Microsoft Exchange, Internal and External applications, Database, VOIP, IT Security and more. They will be interfacing with you and will need your support. In addition you will need to support the transfer of completed projects to the OSD operations and maintenance team when the development efforts are done. You will need to be a master of delegating and monitoring progress of your SME resources and keep up with a challenging workflow and deliver results for new projects on time. You will also need to communicate effectively with the OSD project management team, and in many cases internal OSD customers and program owners. You will also need to understand and document new requirements as well as communicate level of effort and schedule. The position will require a flexible schedule as testing and upgrades may require work outside of normal business hours to minimize impact to the operational environment. Qualifications: - 7 Years of experience in Technical Project Management and Solutions Design - 3 Years of DOD experience in Technical Project Management and Solutions Design - Demonstrated history of documenting designs, development plans, operations procedures for large complicated engineering projects - Demonstrated history of meeting deadlines and delivering results - Demonstrated history of navigating complex environments and delivering results in spite of communications challenges - This position is open only to candidates with an active DOD security clearance Additional Desired Skills - Microsoft Technical Certifications (MCP, MCSA, MCTS, MCSE, MCITP) - Knowledge of the PMI PMP development process - Experience with tracking projects using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server - Knowledge of Best Practices for the design of Secure IT Environments The right candidate must appreciate and exemplify the NetCentrics culture as described by our Core Values.
