International Medical Corps Communications Volunteer
International Medical Corps is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student in media or communications interested in international development or relief to volunteer for the summer.
International Medical Corps is a global nonprofit organization focused on humanitarian relief and development through capacity building. In the wake of a humanitarian emergency, International Medical Corps deploys qualified and dedicated volunteers and staff to respond. It is thanks to an extensive roster of volunteers that we are able to provide essential, timely and quality support to people in need.
To help promote International Medical Corps’ roster and recruit these dedicated volunteers, we are seeking our own volunteer to assist the Emergency Response Unit in the DC office with our promotional materials (videos, brochures, pamphlets, etc). The ideal volunteer would be an innovative student in the media or communications fields, interested in international development, volunteering with a great organization, and in gaining real-world experience. Students studying a field related to International Development with some communications background are also welcome to apply. The volunteer project would last throughout the summer 2013, with flexible hours. We are looking for volunteers to start immediately.
Note: volunteers must know how to make videos, have knowledge of Photoshop, and must be located in Washington DC.
How to apply:
Interested volunteers send CV to Katie Korf at kkorf@InternationalMedicalCorps.org
