Project Assistant-IPM Institute Of North America, Inc.

Project assistant position available with an independent non-profit organization working to improve sustainability in agriculture and communities through Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

Current projects include promotion of IPM concepts, sustainable agriculture, pesticide risk assessment, IPM evaluation and certification. Successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks in support of these and other projects.

Duties include website maintenance, coordinating communications and outreach with partners and participants, and general clerical and administrative support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft application required. References required. 

Flexible schedule, 30 or more hours per week, hourly compensation ranging from $11 to $12 commensurate with skills and experience. Benefits include health insurance and paid vacation. Located in near west Madison near Hilldale, on bus routes.

The IPM Institute of North America, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed in 1998. The Institute's mission is to accelerate education and development of IPM standards for self-evaluation and IPM certification. Institute funders have included US EPA, USDA and members and supporters.
