Public Diplomacy And Policy Outreach Expert –Team Leader

Ecorys is looking to recruit a Public Diplomacy and Policy Outreach Expert –Team Leader to work on “B-Brussels: ICI+ — EU public diplomacy and outreach in India and in the SAARC” project.

The requirements are the following:

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in a related discipline (e.g. public relations, communications, international relations, economics, management)
• Computer Literacy
• Excellent command of English
• Good knowledge of Hindi or other SAARC languages desirable
• Familiarity with Indian and other South Asian cultures
• Strong management and communication skills

Professional experience

• Familiarity with EU policies initiatives in emerging countries, in particular India and SAARC countries
• General experience of 5 to 10 years or more in public diplomacy, public relations, communication, event management, marketing, policy dialogue
• Experience as a Team leader/ Project Manager (min 5 years in the last 10 years)
• Experience working in India and SAARC Countries (min 5 years in the last 10 years)

Desirable experience

• Familiarity to work with public institutions in SAARC area
• Promoting regional integration and EU values in third countries
• Organising events and public diplomacy campaigns and policy dialogues

Additional Information

The project will run from November 2013 for 36 months

Based in New Dehli, India; estimated input 650 working days
