Draftsman, Design Engineer Conroe, Texas
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical Engineering preferred.
*Knowledge of 3D design software, ie SolidWorks.
*Ability to work in a shop environment "hands on", assembling and testing equipment.
*Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends at times.
*Strong written and verbal communcation skills.
*Good problem solving skills.
Job Description:
To support the Engineering department by deliverying work as delegated by the Lead Designer.
Duties include:
*Produce technical drawings through SolidWorks CAD program.
*Produce bill of materials.
*Assemble and test designs in shop.
*Interface with engineers, clients, and vendors on design specifications.
*Eventually design tools and review drawings as appropriate based upon knowledge gained.
*Prepare engineering calculations to validate design.
