Responsibilities:
Support existing project work related to permitting and environmental impact assessment of resource development
projects; participate in field sampling/monitoring work which could include stream flow, water quality, storm water,
aquatic life, and wildlife. Develop reports or relevant portions of reports applicable to associated field work, permitting
activities, or impact analyses. Support project managers with client reporting activities and budgeting. Provide
clients with high quality products and services using sound scientific approach and a strong knowledge of applicable
state and federal regulatory programs.

Job Requirements :
Experience/Skills:
Experience in Alaska is mandatory. Successful candidate will have experience and strong understanding of sampling
protocols for water quality and stream flow monitoring as well as a familiarity with sampling/monitoring techniques
required for aquatic life. Experience with watershed planning and assessment processes is preferred. Candidate should
have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with broad audiences (i.e., public, peers,
and regulators) and experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products. Experience with software packages used for
statistical or geo-spatial (GIS) analysis is a plus.

Degree Requirements:
Master’s degree in environmental science, biology, aquatic science, geology or related field.
