Legal and Compliance Counsel (maternity cover – initially 6 months)

We are currently looking for a Legal and Compliance Counsel (maternity cover) to be based at our offices near Trafalgar Square, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on and managing legal, regulatory and compliance processes within Save the Children International in relation to its international programs and other activities.
To be successful in this role, you will be a UK qualified lawyer with some post qualification experience, ideally in an international context, and be able to advise on and support regulatory and compliance requirements. Skilled at applying technical expertise to complex problems, you will have a proven ability to think strategically and to synthesise complex information from different sources. With strong time management skills, you will also be comfortable working independently and juggling competing priorities successfully to meet tight deadlines as well as maintaining high attention to detail throughout.
