The Media Management department is part of the Business, Finance and Technology division in BBC Scotland. The Media management department is responsible for managing and tracking media throughout the production lifecycle and ensuring that content is archived for current and future audiences.
You will support file based production and ensure that content is archived according to media management policies and guidelines. You will also support the delivery of content to all platforms, ensure content is available for all content producers, and safeguard BBC Scotland content for future audiences.
You will have a recognised qualification in information management/ librarianship or relevant experience of content management in a similar multi media environment. Furthermore you will have an awareness of new broadcast and information technologies.
