Duties
PRMF is a road management and governance reform program that aims to strengthen the capability and capacity of DILG and selected provincial governments to provide better roads for their communities. The Facility Director will provide direction and leadership for implementation of the PRMF.
The position is full-time for an initial period of two (2) years with an option to extend the appointment for another twelve (12) months. The extension of the contract will be subject to regular performance monitoring. The successful candidate is expected to commence as soon as possible, but no later than 1 August 2013. A competitive remuneration package, including attractive conditions for employment, will be negotiated commensurate with the demonstrated experience, expertise and skills of the successful applicant.
The Facility Director will be based in Manila and located within the office of the Facility Contractor. The Position will be expected to spend some time, often at short notice, in Australia and/or provincial centres where Program support is to be provided. 

Eligibility / Other Requirements
A Master’s degree qualification in a relevant field such as development studies, international development, public administration, political science, international relations or economics would be an advantage. Substantial and diverse experience relevant to all aspects of the role, including over ten (10) years in leadership positions is required for the position. Previous experience in managing a Facility would be particularly relevant. This position is an overseas-based AusAID employee, not Australian Public Service position.
