The Louis Berger Group, Inc. offers professional services in the areas of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and environmental engineering; program management; planning; environmental sciences; cultural resources; information services; economics; policy and management analysis; and construction management and support.
Requirements include:
Qualified candidates should have 8 years of combined field and office cost control experience involving large-scale projects, preferably in the New York City area. The candidate must have the ability to work in a matrix-type environment, and must be a self-starter.

Candidates for this position should have:
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining budgets for large public-works programs.
  • Experience with multiple stakeholder/funding sources is required.
  • Experience with the Federal Transit Administration cost accrual and tracking procedures are a plus, as are cost estimating and scheduling experience.
  • Excellent skills with Excel.
  • Knowledge of Contract Manager, P6 and/or Cognos dB are a major plus.
  • Certification as CCE or CCC is also a plus.
Excellent communication skills, written, oral and interpersonal skills to deal with a high pressure environment.
Proficiency in cost control/cost management methods and applications including earned value analysis and cost forecasting.
Ability to interface with clients and participate in business development initiatives. 
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or related field is required.
Candidates with advanced degrees or professional certifications and accreditations in Construction Management and related fields are preferred.
Expert ability with Microsoft Office Suite primarily Excel.
While local candidates are preferred, excellent candidates from other US locations will be considered.
