Objectives of the role:
In the framework of the United Nations’ Sustainable Energy for All initiative, the European Commission has launched a Technical Assistance facility to support developing countries to improve their policy and regulatory framework conditions aiming at providing attractive and enabling conditions for increased public and private investment in energy access, energy supplies, renewable energy as well as energy efficiency.The first two facilities target West and Central Africa as well as East and Southern Africa:
