Job PurposeTo act as a direct liaison with Etihad staff to provide them with a consistently high quality travel services; issuing Duty travel / Annual Leave / Joining & Repatriation tickets other than ID90/ID50 and ZED tickets, for personal travel.Rapid response to staff queries and request. Cost effective utilization of resources.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for the following;
  • Ensure all ticket requests for Duty travel, Annual leave travel, and personal travel, and IATA letter request are issued on priority basis.
  • Ticket request on other airlines for duty / annual leave travel is issued using the most cost effective way.
  • Ensure emails from staff travel mail box are answered on daily basis.
  • Ensure on time reporting of all audit coupons for the tickets issued to revenue accounts on daily basis.
  • Ensure all important documents are filed properly for easy reference when required.
  • Keep up to date on product, services, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all outstation queries are answered on priority basis.
  • Maintain the records of credit card and petty cash transactions.
  • Maintain good relations with other departments directly linked to staff travel, like HR, Yield Management, CRC, IT, Revenue Accounts, e-commerce and apt. ticketing office etc.
RequirementsEducation:
  • ‘O’ level or equivalent.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Thorough knowledge of Geography.
 
Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years airline or travel agency experience in a reservations and ticketing role.
  • Working knowledge of staff travel reservation and ticketing.
  • Well versed with technicalities of airline staff travel policy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times
  • Commercial awareness
Training:
  • Reservation system *AMADEUS* - courses in reservations and ticketing
  • Airline basic passenger tariff and pricing course.
  • Recognized IATA or knowledge on rules and regulations of airline restriction.
  • Advance Reservations and ticketing
  • Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
