Tanzania Fertilizer Company Limited Is a Government owned parastatal organization under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Marketing dealing with Importation and distribution of various types of fertilizers throughout the country The Company operates purely on commercial basis and has its head office in Dar Es salaam with a number of branches in more than eight regions and agencies all over the country.
In order to achieve the Company objectives, suitably qualified Tanzanians are Invited to
fill four senior vacant posts In the Commercial, Finance and Internal Auditor.

CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR
Reporting Relationships:
(a) Reports to : General Manager
(b) Supervises : All Internal audit staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develops and implements comprehensive internal auditing programme for the
company.
. Evaluates the effectiveness of internal controls and suggests Improvements as
necessary.
• Develops and advises the General Manager on more efficient and effective
operating systems.
• Prepares internal audit reports and findings as per auditing programme and
evaluates their implementation.
. Checks and reviews compliance to company policies and operating procedures
and reports any deviations for corrective management action.
. Offers assistance to External Auditors when necessary.
. Any other duties that may be assigned by the General Manager from time to time.
. Position Specifications:
(a) Academic Qualifications:
A full professional Accountancy qualification (i.e. CPA(T) or equivalent).
(b) Work Experience:
At least five years experience as an auditor in a reputable organization
(D) other:
(I) Demonstrated good management and administrative skills.
and impeccable integrity.
(j) Excellent computer literacy is essential.
(I) Good Interpersonal skills.
(a) Academic Qualifications:
Holder of CPA (T), ACCA or Its equivalent, computer literacy.
Post graduate qualification In business management/Finance/Economic
would be added advantage.
(b) Work Experience
At least five years post qualification working experience.
Postgraduate qualifications In business administration/finance would be
added advantage.
(c) Other:
Experience In fertilizer Marketing activities or similar activities is
added advantage.
