Tanzania Fertilizer Company Limited Is a Government owned parastatal organization under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Marketing dealing with Importation and distribution of various types of fertilizers throughout the country The Company operates purely on commercial basis and has its head office in Dar Es salaam with a number of branches in more than eight regions and agencies all over the country.
In order to achieve the Company objectives, suitably qualified Tanzanians are Invited to
fill four senior vacant posts In the Commercial, Finance and Internal Auditor.
COMMERCIAL MANAGER:
Reports to: General Manager
Supervises: All Zone Managers, Supplies , Stocks and Sales
Duties and Responsibilities
. lncharge of Planning, Coordinating. Directing and Organizing purchases and
Marketing Company Products.
• Liaises with relevant institution Institutions and Ministries on logistical issues
in the Importation of fertilizers, and other Company products.
. Identify customers for Company products.
- Create good business environment With customers and suppliers.
• Any other business that may be allocated to him by the General Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
(A) Academic qualifications
Master degree in Business Administration/ Commerce/Economics .
Agriculture, Statistics or its equivalent.
(B) Work Experience
At least five years post graduate experience, and three of which should
be in the senior Managerial position.
(C) Others
(I) Good Managerial and Administrative skills and impeccable integrity.
(ii) Excellent Computer literacy is essential.
(lii) Good interpersonal skills
