Key Account - Oil & Gas Qatar / Oman
Job description:
We are now looking for a well experienced Engineer to be employed as a Key Account Oil & Gas to further develop and profitably grow our business in this specialized market segment, across all the CT (Compressor Technique) divisions in Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen .
The selected candidate will report to the Regional Business Line Manager – Oil free, Atlas Copco Services Middle East.
The Mission of the successful candidate will be to:
- Develop and maintain a close relationship with all Oil and Gas end customers, consultants and contractors / EPCs in coordination with our distributors in both Qatar and Oman.
- Promote all our products and solutions across both Oil Free Air /Industrial Air divisions.
- Focus on increasing our sale of all our Air and N2 Compression and drying Systems, Gas Purification Systems, Industrial Gas Systems and Biogas Upgrading Systems.
- Be responsible for the full registration of all our products with the oil and gas customers, contracting and engineering companies to ensure that we quote on all inquiries related to our products.
- Be responsible for the relationship with our customers, in the oil and gas sector, to ensure that they are over satisfied with the products and services offered by our staff.
- Be responsible to sell and oversee all technical custom design solutions offered and executed by Atlas Copco
- Be responsible for the contract negotiation and follow up on the execution of all Custom Design projects including the Legal and Commercial Terms.
- Ensure that we consistently plan, organize and carry-out continuous training and mutually beneficial customer days for our oil and gas customers.
- Conduct a detailed survey on all customers and competition.
- Maintain a full record of all installations of compressed air and gas systems, gas purifications and treatment systems in the oil and gas sector.
- Assist all customers in all phases of on-going and future projects, from Feed to execution.
- Ensure that the consultants and end-customers receive and utilize up to date specifications and standards related to our products.
- To work very closely with Marketing, proposal and Contract teams to achieve results and ensure timely completion of contracts to customer expectations.
- Consistent iPSM implementation of all sales and marketing activities to ensure accurate market information and customer database.

Experience requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in dealing with the Oil and Gas sector.
- Minimum 5 years experience in selling engineered solutions.
- Multi-cultural and/or International Experience is a plus.

Knowledge:
- Good command (verbal and written) of English. Arabic is a plus.
- Good presentation skills.
- Familiarity with API/ISO standards and typical contractors / oil & gas companies and engineering specifications.
- Familiarity and experience to deal and negotiate commercial terms and conditions.

University Degree – In Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

This position will be based either in Dubai, UAE or in Doha, Qatar
Company presentation:
The Regional Support Center operating under the legal name & umbrella of Atlas Copco Services Middle East within the Compressor Technique Business Area has started operating as of January 1st, 2003. This Regional Support Center has been created to give both technical & commercial support to our Distributors in the Region as well as to continue developing the business in Saudi Arabia through our existing Customer Center - Atlasco.
In the legal units in the region (Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia & Kuwait), we have a total strength of 330 people.
Territory includes: UAE, Oman, Qatar, Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.
