Job description:
Compressor Preventative Maintenance and Repairs – Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on air compressors. Preventative maintenance should be conducted in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations (with regards to schedule and scope).
Disassemble air compressors for overhaul or modification, removing and replacing worn parts. Clean, prepare, repair and reassembly components, including adjusting and aligning parts and systems. Troubleshoot and perform final functional and operational tests of repaired and overhauled machines.
Provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer needs and working to satisfy customer expectations. Develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism. Serve as an ambassador for the company, promoting Atlas Copco .
Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times.
Recordkeeping and Documentation - Complete work order forms, service data reports, time cards, expense reports, and other job-related paperwork as required.
Perform additional assignments as required.

Mission:
Provide quality service to customers in field repairs and maintenance jobs. Provide regular updates to the customer. Proactively identify, pursue, and resolve customer service issues.
Experience requirements:
1-2 years of technical field service experience with strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Knowledge:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Educational requirements:
High School diploma (DAE) required with technical training in mechanical and/or electrical.
Personality requirements:
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Extensive overnight travel may be required on short notice. Heavy lifting required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
