About the role
Working with the Governance, Security and Justice (GSJ) practice, the successful candidate will be responsible for business development, project management, relationship management and direct consultancy inputs on projects. This includes promotion of the business to potential clients, identification of project opportunities, preparation of project bids, project mobilisation and ongoing project management. The post-holder must establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks for projects working with in-house specialists.
About the person
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience of
  • Business development, including identification of target clients, preparation of project proposals, and negotiation of contract terms.
  • Marketing company services, including developing targeted business plans, building and maintaining constructive relationships with clients, consultants, staff and stakeholders.
  • Commercial management, including budgeting and financial management.
  • Successfully delivering donor funded consulting assignments in developing countries.
  • Applying their subject matter knowledge of governance, security or justice sector reform in developing countries, particularly Fragile and Conflict Affected States.
