One Planet is a new and ambitious landmark series for BBC1 - a re-imagining of the ‘Planet’ brand that brought you Blue Planet, Planet Earth and Frozen Planet. Just as Planet Earth did, One Planetwill give a generation a chance to take a global view of our planet, but this time in an immersive and interactive way.

One Planet …where winning is everything…
6 x 60’ for 2016 on BBC1
Our planet is experienced as dynamic arenas where animals and plants play out the game of life for the ultimate prize: a stake in the next generation.

One Planet will:-

1) Transform our familiar landscapes into dynamic arenas using a range of new immersive filming techniques – our planet as you’ve never experienced it before.
2) Reveal the winners in the game of life as the animals and plants that use any variation in the way they look, behave or interact socially to give them the edge…This is life as you’ve never understood it before.
3) Tell a story of winning that we can all relate to because every living thing, ourselves included, is descended from a proven winner. We are all part of the story of evolution – the greatest story in nature.
4) Be the first truly 360 degree landmark with end-to-end integration of digital, social media and TV.

So, if Planet Earth showed us the wonder and awe of our home.
Life revealed the endless variety of animals we share it with.
One Planet will give us front row seats at the game of life…
